Center for Globalization Studies (CGS) is independent, non-governmental and non-partisan institution formed as response to changes that occurred in Serbia and the region. CGS quickly took its place in our academic community, by working on current topics of European and Euro-Atlantic issues, and by advocating the need to use new changes in Serbia as a good opportunity for accelerated accession to the EU and NATO. Our mission is to research the most important social problems in the world, Europe, the Balkans and Serbia; to suggest the appropriate measures to accelerate transition and join our country to international economic, security and political integration in order to take our place in the Euro Atlantic community as soon as possible and to study various aspects of globalization and their impact on individuals and society.
