Citizens of Today, a non-governmental organization, was founded in Belgrade, Serbia in January 2019, by people who believe that only clean, protected, and a sustainable environment will provide a decent and harmonious living to all human beings. Our major goal is to promote legal and ethical norms that will shift values, actions and attitudes of every individual, civil society, governments, and private sector in order to provide sustainable development that we all are striving for. However, in order to meet our goals we are willing to undertake actions in the area of security and protection of all natural resources; equitable distribution of energy supply; more efficient usage of fossil fuels and alternative energy; managing water supply and its effective; environmental protection, safe and secure food production, usage of alternative energy and bio-fertilizers in agriculture, safe and secure irrigation, quality education for all, poverty and hunger reduction, social inclusion, good quality and accessible health-care services for all. We strongly believe that taking actions in these specific areas would help us meet our goal that will go a long way to provide a decent living to every human being not only in Serbia but worldwide. Only by uniting our efforts, can we proceed to tackle the biggest environmental and ecological obstacles facing our Planet. This is because humanity (citizens) today shares a common future. We would love to work and collaborate with anyone who shares the same values, goals, and motivation as we do in order to protect our Planet and save our environment. Our work will be based on various project, campaigning, organizing and participate in events, creating awareness, lecturing, and conducting specific research in all of the areas which will be beneficial to every citizen, community, and for our Planet.
