Family Tošić from village Trnavci near Aleksandrovac (Župa Aleksandrovačka, Central Serbia) has been growing wine grapes and making wines for more than a century. After many years of family experience, Miroslav Mogorović established the winery Podrum Tošići in 2015, with the aim to produce high quality wines especially from the autochthonous grapes tamjanika and prokupac and to present them to wine lovers in the country and abroad. In cooperation with the team of experts led by a technologist Miroslav Kostić resulted in wines which won over the pallets of wine lovers in a very short time, but which also achieved professional recognition by winning numerous awards at wine fairs. Winery Tošići is best known for its wine Zlatousta, the first Serbian orange Tamjanika. Wines from winery Tošići are made from grapes grown on the slopes of Župa Aleksandrovačka on the territory of villages Trnavci and Ljubinci, utilizing a combination of traditional methods and modern technology. All sensory characteristics of our wines are the result of natural processes. Barrique wines age in barrels made of Serbian oak by a local cooper Đorić from village Zleginje. Župa Aleksandrovačka has been a well-known wine region since the time of Roman emperors. Serbian villagers have grown vines for centuries with great care and love, so that with time the wines from this region gained local, but also a European recognition.
