Serbian Association for Occupational Safety and Health (SAOSH) is formed as professional association which gather experts, engineers, workers representatives and other persons professionally oriented at occupational safety and health system.The main social activity of the Association is based on continuous improvement of occupational safety and health, improving the working conditions and preserving the working environment. Association was registrated on December 21st, 2004, as a voluntary, professional, apolitical, non-governmental and non-profit association of citizens of Serbia. The headquarters are located in Kragujevac, Serbia. Today, the Association gathers more than 500 members and has a tendency to spread further. Organizing of seminars and expert conferences, Education of its members, Promotion of occupational safety and health good practice, Publishing. THE NECESSITY FOR OSH ASSOCIATION •Disordered relations and extremely difficult situation in the functioning of the existing system of occupational safety and health. •Ignorance of the matter and the lack of information. •Resistance in one part of professional public, for the changes that follow, as well as concerns regarding the future status. • Willingness of a professional public to cooperate and participate in future events and adaptation of the new OSH system solutions. • Different attitudes in the overall situation, to those who support all activities of adequate legislation and harmonization and joining the European Union. OUR VISION is to have a significant role in the international improvement of occupational safety and health. OUR MISSION is to improve activities of our members through diversity of our services, information sharing and innovation of knowledge; OUR CORE VALUES are Leadership, Networking, Professionalism, Responsibility, Fairness and Equity, Teamwork, Accountability, and Diversity.
